Originally formed in 2005, Second Impulse has steadily evolved in to one of the most up and coming bands in the Baltimore area’s driving rock genre. The soaring vocals of David Gascon, screaming guitar of Dave Brewer, heart thumping bass of Luke Shagogue and the cavity rattling drums of Joe Morrison blend into a most impressive, vibrant and inspiring sound.

Having taken a 4 month hiatus to write new material and welcome in thier new drummer Joe Morrison they have returned by touring the eastern United states. Finally returning home in mid-April, the band played a huge show to hundreds of fans in support of their self-titled EP release. Having worked hard at The Deep End Studios with Tony Correlli to record the EP and most recently two additional tracks for future release, they expect to continue touring and writing for the next few months and possibly releasing another EP as early as September 2010.

The band’s hits such as Lullaby, Blue Skies, and One Way draw the crowd in and “There’s no better feeling than when you see your fans singing your lyrics”, says David Gascon.

Now armed with more determination, focus and support, Second Impulse is gearing up for the remainder of 2010 with great anticipation!
