Luke was born and raised in Columbia, MD. At the age of sixteen he made an attempt to learn the ways of the guitar, quickly dismissing it as,”not for me.” Years later, in a chance meeting, he was asked by an acquaintance to play bass in a grunge rock band. As his expectations would have it, this venture was doomed to a short existence. However, he found a new lust for music and a friend (Dave Brewer) he would continue to play with for years to come.

With a heavy influence of hard rock and metal, Luke was determined to find more like-minded musicians to reach the next step. Finally, in 2007 he found a home playing in Second Impulse, and now sets no limits on his musical career.
