Born in Baltimore City and raised in the harbor area, David has been playing some form of music since the age of eight. He bought his first guitar at the age of nineteen and has stopped at nothing to become the best he can be. He was formally trained in blues, jazz, and classical from several acclaimed teachers in Maryland.

Despite his formal musical background, David loves to write heavy, melodic riffs and rock as hard as possible. Dedicated to finding talented, driven musicians he formed Second Impulse in the winter of 2007.
